6ix9ine unleashed his latest single last week, employing a way more melodic sound than anything we've previously heard from the Brooklyn native. On Sunday, the Day69 rapper shared Lyrical Lemonade's Cole Bennett-directed visual for 'Gotti' via WorldStarHipHop, and the video has accumulated more than 5 million views on YouTube in just 24 hours.
Tekashi previously teased the forthcoming music video through several Instagram clips while hanging out last month with his good friend and culture critic DJ Akademiks. The visual opens with the 'Gummo' rapper chilling poolside with beautiful women in bikinis enjoying the serene weather and sunset views courtesy of the Dominican Republic.
The clip pivots to the 21-year-old strolling through a local DR town, where he channels his inner-Drake to help those in need. The platinum-selling artist distributes $100 bills and Dominican pesos to families throughout the community. His philanthropy doesn't discriminate either, as the recipients range from young kids to the overworked older generation.
