Copied from another frustrated user, but with my same concern:
'I successfully used your Windows DVD Maker on my previous computer. Since it was such a great program I assumed it was included on my new Windows 10. NOT SO!!! After spending many hours putting together a slide show for my father's visitation (which will be on Sunday) through Adobe Photoshop which I've used successfully in the past, I looked for the Windows DVD Maker to burn it to DVD and it was shocked to find does not exist on Windows 10. What's worse, I am unable to download it as an additional feature from Microsoft. I do not have time at this point to recreate the slideshow on my XP laptop. I am VERY disappointed that you chose to leave off this feature in your 'new and improved' Windows 10.
After trying a free DVD burner program (poor quality results plus an ugly logo at the beginning), and ruining at least 6 DVD's in experimentation, I checked with Office Depot and Best Buy on alternatives to this problem. Best Buy suggested I download Windows Movie Maker which I did, but I still cannot burn a DVD. At this point I have run out of solutions.
DVD burning is one of the main functions I do with my computer..anything from slide shows for special occasions to putting my photos to music for family enjoyment to putting my granddaughter's basketball games on DVD! I do not understand why this feature was overlooked!
PLEASE provide a download for Windows 10 for burning DVDs!! You will make a LOT of people very happy!'
