Adobe Elements For Windows 10
I have Windows 10 and Photoshop Elements 7 for my photos, which I used during the summer and it was fine. Yesterday I tried to go into Elements 7 and the browser was frozen. I thought at first that I should buy the latest version of Elements but after looking on the website I found that a number of people were reporting the same problem who had a newer version of Elements than mine. It seems that the problem is the updates, in particular the Creators Edition. I would appreciate any comments or help that anyone can give. Moved from Update to Apps. You need to use a version of Photoshop Elements that is supported on Windows 10.
Adobe does not support your version on Windows 10 - that means Adobe has not tested it on Windows 10 to see if it will work properly, has not attempted to keep it up to date with the changes in Windows, and won't help you if you are having trouble. There's really nothing that Microsoft can do about this. Microsoft can't force Adobe to support old versions of its software.
Fellow Photoshop Elements users may have some tricks they can teach you to keep your version working on Windows 10, just understand that neither Adobe nor Microsoft can guarantee that they'll work. Just a regular guy, with no fancy titles or boasts. 1.6GHz or faster processor with SSE2 support. 64-bit versions of Microsoft Windows 7 with Service Pack 1, Windows 8, or Windows 10.
Aug 25, 2017 - Last month, I noted that the Windows Store version of Adobe Photoshop Elements 15 would not run on Windows 10 S. This problem still isn't.
