Horus Heresy Reading Order

Id like to read a few more of the Horus Heresy novels, and specifically dont want to read them all before getting through the central plot of the Heresy.

Ive read Horus Rising, False Gods, and Galaxy in Flames.
Id like to focus on the main storyline - I feel I can skip the secondary story lines (Imperium Secundus, Stories about only one or two legions, or the mechanicum series). Essentially Id like to read the primary story arc first, then come back and get the details of how the players came to where they interact with the main story later. So, any novels that follow Horus or the Emperor are what Im looking for. Or any that have especially important bits of lore that cant wait or will make the central plot make more sense.

BUT, Im at a bit of a loss as to what to read next. I browsed the Black library site and it just lists plot summaries in book number order, which seems like it tries to incorporate all the books and isnt what I want.

The flowchart is unclear which story arc is really next in line for Horus and the Emperor, or what is really required reading for that story arc.

So the overall question is this :
What else should I read, and in what order?
A few follow up questions follow, but that is the main one. Camtasia studio 9 torrent cracked.

Where do I read more about the Istvan V drop site Massacre?
Are there any books so good or so full of important plot info and lore that I should read them anyway despite them not being in the main plot line?
Are any of the short stories in the anthologies required reading?
Are any of the novels so compelling that they will make me want to play a SM Chapter or a Chaos Marine Legion in the tabletop game?

Horus

Based upon a little reading of plot summaries and other reviews it seems I should read the below list.. but what else? Or what here isnt needed?
Legion
First Heretic (Maybe?)
Vengeful Spirit
Master of Mankind
..More to follow presumably.

Any advice is appreciated. :)
